Happy Monday everyone! Hope you are all doing well. Paint brush in hand, I continue with my recent series of coastal paintings.
Countless islands joined along a moving sea.
Early morning clouds roll over the mountains in the distance, and yet those strong horizontals ground us for a new day and a new week.
When the waters are calm and the storm has passed, the world can slow down and we can catch our breath.

Today’s painting comes from a series of passage images that envelop water, sky, and shore.
I’m still continuing to weave my way along the coast.
As we near the end of March it is snowing outside. Pretty and needed for a Hallmark Christmas special, but becoming a somewhat uninvited guest as we long for spring flowers. Today’s painting has a bit of an icy feel, I guess that’s appropriate for a snowy day.
We go to the water’s edge and there we find majesty and peace.
