I’ve started to work on a few of these fragmented images. The world dissolved into confetti shaped bits of sharp edged colour.

We all need a bit of support. In order to walk, and then to run, from our earliest days to times later in life we need support. These “Walking Shoes” gave our first-born support for those first few steps.
Happy June, Everyone. Today’s painting continues my interest in the world afloat. Sky, land, and water ⎻ they make for a great day at the beach. It also sounds like a good way to spend some time this June.
I grew up near a river, and now live near the ocean. Youthful summers were spent fishing, and at times during winter months when the conditions were right, we would skate and play pick-up games of hockey on the river. It seems I’ve always been drawn to the water’s edge.
Obstacles, barriers, opportunities, challenges, or just plain awesomeness, mountains seem to have it all. Happy Monday everyone.
For all who struggle, take heart for beyond this misty horizon is a land of hope and dreams.
It’s May the fourth here on planet earth, and nature is on the move. Every day now you can see signs of the awakening power that is Spring. Today’s painting with its dash of green, waits in calm expectation for the verdant greens yet to come. Have a great day everyone.
Happy May Day !
I’m still weaving my way through these passage images. I’ve had this group of images on the back burner for quite some time. Being able to paint them in oil, without the use of solvents has been the motivation to finally put them to brush.
Today’s painting has some cool colours for a cool day. They are predicting snow later tonight heading into tomorrow. One week to May 🙂
