The trip was intense – we’re not used to higher altitudes, having lived at sea level for so long. But southern Utah is a very beautiful place and quite a change from the Pacific northwest. Some of the rock formations I saw had the same kind of subtlety as your Passage series, tones shading softly into other tones. Beautiful.
