Today’s painting is another version of a Van Gogh self-portrait preserved in a Mason jar. The original portrait is magnificent and is on display at Musée d’Orsay. If you’re a fan of Mr. Van Gogh you should try to see the movie “Loving Vincent”, it’s well worth a view.

I like your tribute. The jar glows a bit more with the gold accents and Vincent is light. I’d like to see this movie, but it hasn’t reached our TV screens, tho have seen snippets of how it was made. A masterpiece, on all fronts.
