It has been a while since I painted a jam jar. I’d almost forgotten how much fun it is to paint those vibrant reds. Today’s painting Summer in a Jar reminds us that Preserves not only preserve wonderful food but also a time and place. Paintings of Jam have led to my “Preserve” series.
