A true sign of spring

Preserved Tulip watercolour 12″x18″

Last weekend we had a visit from very special friends from Sackville, New Brunswick. On Saturday we went to the farmers market together and while we were there they bought us some beautiful tulips. Yesterday I borrowed one from the vase to make this painting (I don’t think my wife has noticed that I had to cut it in half to make it fit in the mason jar).
